Hudson Watch is an attached-single family homeowner’s association community with 79 townhouse units located off Cedar Lane up on a hill overlooking the Hudson River, in Ossining’s North Village. The complex was completed in 3 phases in 1986-1987.
Hudson Watch Features and Amenities
Hudson Watch features a 30′ by 75′ swimming pool with large sundeck, a playground and a regulation tennis court. It’s beautiful setting gives you a front-row seat to the Hudson River’s frequent stunning sunsets. If you haven’t seen them before, I’m willing to bet you won’t believe how beautiful and serene they can be.
There are 3 main models of condominiums here, originally called “The Corsair,” “The Argosy” and “The Brigantine.” All models originally feature central A/C, wood decks or patios, cathedral ceilings in the entry foyer, a fireplace, and a one-car attached garage with additional private driveway parking space. Some units contain one or more skylights, additional cathedral ceilings, a wetbar (all units are plummed for wetbar even if one does not exist), and a covered entry. Most models are 2 bedrooms, with some 1 and 3 bedrooms. Square footage runs from approximately 1,200 to over 2,000 sq. ft.
Hudson Watch is just about in between 2 train stations on the Metro North Hudson Line. The Ossining Train Station is just 1.5 miles away, while the Croton Harmon Train Station is 2.1 miles away. They are each a 7 or 8 minute drive from Hudson Watch. Both stations offer express trains that make it into Grand Central in about 45 minutes.
How to get to Hudson Watch
To get to Hudson Watch if you’re coming South down route 9, you pass Croton on Hudson, go over the Croton River and keep left on 9A. Take a right at the Stormytown Road exit. In about 1 mile, take a left on Cedar Ln. Go approx 1000 ft. and the Hudson Watch entrance will be on your left.
Alternatively, you can stay on 9 rather than veering left onto 9A after the bridge. Stay on 9 for about .3 miles and take a left onto Westview Ave (at the 7-Eleven). Westview Ave. turns into Hudson Watch Dr. 1 block up the hill.
To get to Hudson Watch if you’re coming North up route 9, you pass through Ossining and after heading up and out of the middle of town, you’ll veer right on Cedar Ln. Up the hill, Hudson Watch will be your third right.
If you’re coming North on 9A, just after passing route 134, take a left at the Stormytown Road exit. In about 1 mile, take a left on Cedar Ln. Go approx 1000 ft. and the Hudson Watch entrance will be on your left.
